The ride will be easier in a 4x4 vehicle with high clearance but it is not necessary. ❗️There are no services and no cell phone signal when traveling here. People often ask me how I started planting trees for the logging and forestry sectors.. Well funny enough my dad told me about it as a kid! He tried it for a season as a young adult and I loved hearing all his stories about it! A love for the outdoors, camping in the wilderness for days on end and long roadtrips made me want to give it a try! I thought it’d be fun. I didn’t think it would turn into a career that allows me to only work 3-5 months to earn people’s yearly salaries, that I’d have money to throw at start ups, dreams and travelling and that I’d never feel like I even WORK a day in my life. Grateful is an understatement. I would NOT recommend this hike to anyone who is a beginner hiker/ backpacker! This hike was steeper, longer, and overall more treacherous that most hikes I’ve done. If you want a taste for adventure and want to push your limits, hike the Golden Ears Provincial Park Summit Trail!
