When you’re at your baby sisters gender reveal for the first grandchild and mom asks the two eldest kids “so who is next?” 👀😶😂 TIA BECKY Y TIO FRANKIE has a nice ring to it huh brother? @Frankie Gomez @Alejandra Esquivias
Found my first gray at 14years old. Could be that I am the eldest daughter of a Mexican-American house hold, started working at 9, the fight-or-flight response which involves the release of norepinephrine (adrenaline) can contribute to hair graying, simply genetics 🧬, or ALL OF THE ABOVE. 🫠 no puesss como que no voy a tener canas guys, like be for realll 🥲
✨Life lessons from the eldest sister who had to do a lot of firsts on her own: YOU GOT THIS.✨ Sometimes I think to myself how wild it is that me—a lil chicana girl from Inglewood who started with nothing, not a single connection in the industry, and a lot of behind-closed-doors battles—made it this far. Then my higher self shows up and says: Why not? YOU come from a blood-line of hardworking, willing, passionate, loving, caring, COURAGEOUS people. YOU made it this far because YOU never gave up, regardless of what you were up against. You are just getting started!! 🫂🥲 You see, systemically, socially, mentally, or emotionally—we’ve been conditioned to let the limitations, judgments, & fears passed down to us/projected onto us, decide who we are and where we’re going… but in reality, YOU decide. Please never forget that our community has always been DESERVING, WORTHY AND CAPAPLE OF GREATNESS. It’s not outside of us, it’s within us. 🤎 Be proud & Don’t give up now!
