Come to find out that Four Seasons staff know everything. Period. They make it their job to make magic in the details. This is what I'm excited to be a part of! There was nothing wrong with the previous chapters in my book. They did, afterall, make me who I am today. And yes, soon I'll share the reasons why Four Seasons Yachts was where I wanted to be. Sometimes taking the first step is the hardest part, but as they say, "Don't be scared to start over. You might like your new story better."

Bean there, done that! Going to see & touch Cloud Gate was at the top of my to-do list in Chicago. Getting to smash & eat it was a bonus! Btw, I'm stocking up on @garrettpopcorn before I leave. I know size matters and so does location, location location, but geez, right next to each other, I never would've e guessed which one was more expensive!

The warm welcome I received coming into @fourseasonsyachts is something that will stay with me. It's their ethos of living the Golden Rule and that's how I know I'm in the right place. And speaking of "place", you might be wondering "what does a captain do in the shipyard this far in advance of the vessel's delivery"? Keeping in mind that @fourseasonsyachts is a start-up, that means that most things, from policies, procedures, processes to systems are a bespoke set-up, which means we get a hand in making it "ours". This is one of the things that intrigued me about this project. It's also a very humbling experience to move from the comfort of knowing how everything flows to figuring out something as simple as what new acronyms mean. I always say, you have to be comfortable being uncomfortable by pushing yourself outside your bubble. It's the only way to learn. This is a test of leadership. It’s appreciating different styles and approaches while understanding how we all contribute to the ultimate goal of delivering unbelievable experiences for our guests & crew!
