PSA for Parents If your little one is going on a boat, please make sure they are wearing a U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket. Swim vests made for the pool are not designed to keep a child’s head safely above water in an emergency. Look for a label that says “U.S. Coast Guard Approved,” make sure it fits snugly, and check that it has a strap between the legs to keep it from riding up. Water safety starts before you even leave the dock and the right gear can save a life. Stay safe and enjoy your time on the water!
Comparison is the thief of joy… but that center counter area 🤤 We are super happy in our new home though! I need to do a walk through once I get this place cleaned up 🥰🤪 I hung a mirror and Clay said it was “mostly level” 🫡
I am all for discussions, all for trust, all for understanding risks and benefits. The number of children with bleeds is difficult to fully characterize because many have subclinical bleeds that leave them with deficits that are not detected. These bleeds are PREVENTABLE. I have written articles and textbook chapters on Vitamin K deficient bleeding and I am always happy to discuss this at length with parents after delivery.
Just to be clear - I don’t share my location on here for the safety of my community and family. I do not mind one little bit if you see me in public and come ask though 🤣 in fact it’s fun!!! I need more momma friends!
I’m so excited and grateful!! I learned SO much. Like ask me about congenital vs infantile hemangiomas. Or criteria for Kawasaki disease. Preferred antibiotic for skin and soft tissue infection. I can’t believe things that feel so easy and natural now were so foreign just 3 years ago!
