#ad Easy photo idea you can do from home🏠 For this shot, I used a doorway, a bright light, and @Photoshop to make it happen ⬇️ I started out by positioning a light outside the doorway to cast a rectangular beam into the hallway. I had my subject stand in the light and play with different angles to create a high-contrast, colorful look. Once I went through my selects, I brought my favorite into Adobe Camera Raw to adjust the exposure, contrast, and skew. From there, I moved into Adobe Photoshop 2025 for some more: -Used the Remove Tool to get rid of any distractions. -Applied Generative Fill to remove the doorway and add a red headband. -Retouched with the Patch Tool and then Dodged & Burned to add more depth. -Back in Adobe Camera Raw, I added a Linear Gradient to enhance the color and finished with applying some of my favorite presets. Try playing around with your own space with light and editing—I’d love to see what you create! #adobepartner #communityxadobe @Adobe
CONTINUOUS VS. FLASH 📸 We decided to team up and do the same exact shoot with the same camera, lens, model, and setup—but with different types of lighting: Continuous & Flash. We both used the @Nikon USA Z 8 and the NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S lens, but we each took a different approach… I opted for a wide-open aperture around f/2.8, capturing more still shots, while @Tina Sokolovska went for slower shutter speeds with a higher f-stop around f/11, playing with motion. Let me know—are you someone who usually shoots with more continuous light or flash?
#ad We decided to do a photoshoot in my bathroom… here’s how it turned out 🛁🫧 @Nikon USA Z 9 • 24-70mm • F/3.5 • 1/160 • ISO 1250 #Nikon #Z9 #NikonCreators #Portrait #Photoshoot
I had to try out this setup again… this time with a different color 💟 Here are some behind-the-scenes clips from a workshop I hosted last week with @Nikon USA, and their Z50II. It was such an awesome experience being able to recreate a few of my favorite lighting setups for everyone who came. Huge thanks to those who joined and shot along—I loved seeing how you all made it your own. I’ll be sharing some of the final photos from this very soon!!
