My skin removal surgery is just three days away, and I’m starting to feel a little nervous, but not for reasons most people might expect. I’ve been on this journey for almost five years, constantly pushing myself with very few setbacks( things that forced me to not go to the gym) —aside from a shoulder injury. This will be the longest time I’ve been away from the gym in years, and honestly, that’s the part that’s making me the most nervous. But I know this is just another part of the journey. Six weeks postop from my skin removal surgery, and I’m so excited to share the results! Even though I’m still swollen, the work @gavindrymd did is absolutely incredible. While I’ve had some healing complications, the surgery itself went perfectly. People have asked if I’d do it again or if I’m just as excited for my next two surgeries, and my answer is 100% YES.
