Splish, splash, they are having a blast! 🪷🦆 I am SO happy to have eliminated a whole step in cleaning the pond! Now I just toss in the septic pump, wait less than 10 minutes for it to drain 600-700 gallons of water, and then add a little more water with the pump on until it runs clear. Nutmeg passed away💔 We did everything we could for her. I went into the pen to check on her & refresh the water bowls and found Nutmeg sitting in the dog house. She looked tired. I told her “it’s okay, you don’t have to do this. You can die”. And just like that her head fell and she passed away. It was honestly the most peaceful pet death I’ve ever witnessed and I don’t think I would believe someone if they told me that’s what happened and I didn’t see it with my own eyes. I find peace knowing that she’s been reunited with her sister, Brownie. Nutmeg was an amazing duck and I wish she could’ve been part of my flock longer than this. She was the best at flying so I know she is truly “flying high” right now❤️#PetLoss #PetGrief #DunkinDucks #PetDucks #Ducks
