How much difference do lifting straps make? (for me) It was easier for me to test this on this scale than to try to rack pull "real" weights Of course, this is just strength in the top-range. I can't deadlift anywhere close to this. I don't really train deadlifts at the moment, but it could be cool to train them more at some point! #hybridcalisthenics

Rice bucket grip training is awesome (for me. I think I needed some more wrist and arm work and this was perfect.) I was surprised at how good and satisfying it felt. Try it out if you get a chance! 5 gallon bucket and 25lb of rice is what I used. #hybridcalisthenics

Rope climbing seemed fun I guess a basic progression could be Rope Pullups -> Rope climbing (two handed pull) -> Rope climbing (one hand pull) You'd probably need several in between. I'll play around with it. It seemed like a nice thing to train with. The ropes do matter, by the way. The thinner, nylon ones feels a lot harder to grip. I'm using one from Kensui (not sponsored) and it felt nice. You could probably also use a towel, but keep in mind that they may not always hold your weight. Have a wonderful day! #hybridcalisthenics

Trying weighted hula hoops Not really for me but if it inspires you to move and get fit, that's awesome and the ideal. That applies to anything I review and try. Something that's a 1/10 for me might be a 10/10 for you if it's what you need. By itself, I don't think it'd do that much for calories, waist trimming, etc. You'd have to do it for quite long. Still fun to try and see the design though! Some people make enjoy doing this while watching TV etc. #hybridcalisthenics #homeworkout

Mini stepper unsponsored review While not necessarily good for strength training (limited progression), it can offer an accessible way for some people to burn some extra calories indoors if they're unable to do walking etc or choose not to. Opinion: if it INSPIRES you enough to do it consistently, this can serve you well! Building up to 30 minutes to an hour a day can help. I really didn't like this orb grip trainer thing. That might just be a me thing, though. Maybe someone with a different hand size would find it more suiting. I guess some could argue that we could adapt to the sideways pressure, but I haven't personally known anyone that's done that in this way - open to knowing if anyone has. Are these horizontal bars worthwhile? In my opinion - they're quite useful to have for their specific uses! This would be horizontal pullups (sometimes called bodyweight rows), lever training, etc. Just keep in mind that they may be a little less stable than they look in videos. Not a dealbreaker for me - it just takes a bit of time to learn to balance. It's not quite as solid as a bar that's bolted or buried in solid ground, of course. That's part of the tradeoff for the convenience (they're much more portable and lightweight.) Have a wonderful day! #hybridcalisthenics

How much does difference does liquid chalk make? For me, it didn't make that much difference on the pullup bar.
