I was born with pride in the beautiful city of Zacatecas, Mexico, a place rich in history and culture. In the early 1980s, my family made the brave decision to migrate to the United States in search of better opportunities. When I arrived, I found myself immersed in a new world, unable to speak a word of English. Yet, within less than a year, I grasped the language with surprising ease, quickly finding my voice in this unfamiliar land. The opportunities I have experienced here have been abundant and transformative, shaping my life in countless ways.
