Wrote this one about what being a teenager in Mobile, AL was like in 2010. We were graduating high school, sports came second, partying came first. Fights broke out, trail cam pics were bragged about and thinking about the weekend was as far of a future you cared to see. “Way Too High (2010)” is a song we just put out about being our highschool years. The song got us thinking about what trucks we road around Mobile, AL, our senior years. So here they are. Gary had his grandpas 97 Chevy single cab Z71 with a 5.7 liter engine. It was a short wheel base but it was a tank. My parents wouldn’t let me “redneck it” with a 6 in suspension lift but, cut enough grass to save for that leveling kit my parents allowed. There was a couple tools in the tool box but, mostly for hiding beer in plain sight. Charlie had a 07 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The batting bag in the back, held a TPX, Rawlings “Heart of the hide” glove and conveniently a pack of Marlboro 100’s hidden in one of the cleats.
