Sometimes we may try to step in when we see one caregiver getting overwhelmed, but the other person can feel hurt and their own authority stripped in front of their child (or grandchild, etc). 📰Good news! There is a way to handle this easily! Have a discussion where both of you agree to let the other caregiver step in by using an agreed upon nonverbal signal that your child does NOT know about. In our house, we gently touch the other persons shoulder- but this could be anything! 🚨Both caregivers have to agree to the plan, as well as not getting upset when the other person feels they need to “tap in.” They also have to agree to “tap out,” when the other feels it is needed. Dein Nervensystem ist wahrscheinlich völlig überreizt mit all den Dingen, die du dir Abends noch vornimmst und geht daher einfach in den Fluchtmodus (im Handy) . Am nächsten Tag wird sich dann wieder geärgert. Aber wie kannst du das ändern? Erstmal ERKENNEN deiner Muster. Wie oft ist das so? Wie verlaufen die Tage, an denen das so ist? Hast du genu gegessen, getrunken, den Tag davor gut geschlafen? Hast du auf dich geachtet? Und dann SANFT zu dir selbst sein. Sprich: nicht ein riesiges Ritual und eine riesige Abendroutine vornehmen. Beginne klein: was kannst du heute gutes für dich und dein System tun? Beginne mit sanften, kleinen Schritten. Immer wenn du dich überforderst und dir zu viel vornimmst, ist vorallem dein Nervensystem überfordert. For most of my life, I abused my Body. I punished it. I neglected it. I talked shit to my Body AND about my Body. I made my Body feel like such a disappointment. A disgrace. An inconvenience. Less than an afterthought. Coming home to my Body + myself truly began over a decade ago when I was diagnosed with my first autoimmune disorder (Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis). I decided I deserved love without conditions + so did my Body. Reconnecting to my Body + listening + discerning what it was trying to tell me changed my whole damn life. 3 decades of the suffering that is IBS. Headaches + migraines. Chronic Fatigue. A blood sugar rollercoaster from Binge Eating Disorder. Going into Fight/Flight trying to say no. Going into Fight/Flight thinking someone was mad at me. Going into Fight/Flight if I made a mistake. Basically living in Fight/Flight + wondering why I felt so bad all the time 🤕😉💛 Turns out, when I get curious + honor what my Body is telling me, it tells me when it’s not okay 😇 Turns out, when I listen to my Body when it’s a WHISPER + give it what it needs, then it doesn’t need to put me in Collapse Response with a tummyache + nausea + a headache 🤕 Turns out, when my Body stays in Fight/Flight for extended periods of time, I don’t feel so great 🤯 Turns out, when I release my stress + feelings + regulate out of Fight/Flight, my Body is able to digest my food + function properly ☺️ Your Body deserves this level of relentless patience + support + kindness + nurturing. Une étude intéressante qui illustre l'efficacité de la respiration pour réguler le système nerveux en cas de stress intense est celle du neuroscientifique Andrew Huberman, spécialiste du cerveau et du comportement à l'Université de Stanford. Dans ses recherches sur les mécanismes de la respiration et son influence sur le système nerveux, il met en lumière un type de respiration appelé "double souffle suivi d'une longue expiration" ("physiological sigh" en anglais).🧐🙏 L'étude montre que ce type de respiration est l'un des moyens les plus rapides et efficaces pour activer le système nerveux parasympathique, responsable de la relaxation et de la récupération après un stress. Lorsqu'une personne est confrontée à un pic d'anxiété ou de stress, son corps est en état de "lutte ou fuite" (réponse sympathique), ce qui augmente le rythme cardiaque, la pression sanguine et la tension musculaire.
