it’s so easy to fall into the trap of trying to be perfect, especially when you feel like you have to show up “right” for God, but that’s not what He asks for. He’s not looking for perfection, He just wants us to be real, raw, and honest with Him. I think a lot of us struggle with that—feeling like we have to present our best selves even when we’re facing struggles. But God already knows all of it. He knows our flaws, our fears, and our doubts. Since before I moved to Nashville 8 years ago I’ve been dreaming about doing my own headline tour. And this weekend that dream came true… Like all things we do in life, there’s been moments of ups and downs, moments I wanted to give it all up, moments of sweet celebration and everything in between. As hard as it was, I’m really grateful for all of it. Jesus has been so kind to me and so so patient! I’m so grateful for the people that have been in my corner encouraging me to keep going.
