ginger adored my mommy and she loved hearing her voice on the phone whenever i wasn’t home in atlanta for us to visit. when i first got ginger she was 2 weeks old and quite poorly. my mom took care of her like her own baby and ginger grew very attached, but mom thought it was best if she didn’t take her so she could be with my other girls. now ginger will never see my mom again, and i can tell that she’s hurting, even if she doesn’t entirely understand what’s happened. love and be there for your animals the same way you’d want for yourself. they have complex souls, thoughts, and feelings, just like you. #griefjourney #grief #motherdaughter
