One of my favorite underrated summer day/weekend trips in New England (& just under 3 hours from Boston) is Block Island!! I went for the first time last year and especially loved the views from the cliffs. Located at CambridgeSide, CanalSide Food + Drink is a food hall with 13 independent vendors, including local favorites like the newly added Fresh Boston and @chilacates (get their birria tacos!) . We also got drinks at the C-Side Bar & revisited some of my favorite spots like @Anoushella for Mediterranean & @Far Out Ice Cream for New Zealand-style ice cream.
