This cake barely survived 😳😂… and so did mum! Kiki and koko are proof that you CAN have your cake and eat it! 🤣🎂 Since Kiki was a young pup, her nickname was “potato”. Why? Because she was always on the chonky side. She’s not fat, but she looks chonky when she sits or lays down 🤣 and we probably call her “potato” more often than her actual name. Depending on the situation, if mum finds Kiki sunbathing, she calls her a “baked potato”. If she’s being extra cute, she calls her a “sweet potato”. If she loses some weight, she calls her a “skinny fry”. SO, we obviously had to plan a potato birthday theme for her. No cooking with beagles this week. We hope you understand! ❤️ As we (the humans) were on our holiday in San Andres, we drove by Kellan dog shelter and decided to stop. We spoke to the person in charge and asked what they needed the most, and they said it was dog food. They provided us with the details for their dog food supplier and we quickly arranged the delivery. As you can see from the video, the weather can go from one extreme to another VERY QUICKLY. From 30°C heat, to a tropical storm and heavy rainfall for hours. This causes a lot of flooding around the island, including the shelter. As it turned out, the shelter also ran out of food that same day, and they were left wondering what they were going to do. If this wasn’t fate, we don’t know what was! We packed as much as we could into our little cart, and delivered 180kg of dog food to the shelter.
