How did I do?🥹🫶🏻🇱🇾 since my dad lived in Libya for a long period of time, I grew up to so much of their dishes and they truly are the best 🤌🏻 RECIPE: feeds 6-8 -1 lb ground beef -1 tbsp olive oil -1 medium onion( chopped) -6 cups water -2 heaping tbsp tomato paste -1/4 cup parsley ( finely copped) -1/2 cup orzo noodles -1/2 tbsp garlic powder ( more to taste ) - 1/2 tbsp cayenne pepper ( more to palette) -1 tsp black pepper -salt to taste HOW TO: - add oil, onion, and ground beef to pan ( bring the meat to a brown) - season beef with cayenne, garlic, salt, and pepper - add tomato paste to 1 cup of water, mix and add into pot with meat. Add 4 additional cups of water. - bring pot to a boil, add in parsley, noodles, additional salt & cayenne to taste. Add additional 1 - 2 cups water depending on noodle absorption. DOUGH RECIPE: 1 cup lukewarm warm water -1/2 tbsp dry active yeast -1/2 tbsp sugar -2 tbsp yogurt -2 tbsp olive oil -22/3 cup flour -1/2 tbsp salt FILLING: -1 1/2 cup mozerlla cheese -1 cup feta cheese -1 egg ( beaten) -1 tbsp parsley ( chopped finely) -1/2 tsp black pepper, garlic, onion, mint Brush with cream or egg white wash Bake 425-12-15mins LENTIL SOUP: -1 cup red lentil( soak for 1-2 hours) -6 cups water ( maybe more) -1 large onion ( diced) -1-2 carrots ( finely diced) -1-2 potato’s ( cubed) -2 chicken stock cubes -1 tsp cumin -1/4 tsp paprika -1/2 tsp tumeric -1/2 tsp salt & pepper( more to taste) -1 lemon juiced Boil then simmer 30-40 mins, puree 🫶🏻 #ramadan2025 #iftarideas #iftarrecipe #fasting #fyp #RamadanMubarak
