60 hour fast 👇🏼 Here’s a quick run down on why I did it and how I felt: I do intermittent fasting often (14-16 hours) but have never done a long term fast. There are a ton of health benefits like autophogy (your body cleans up dead and sick cells), resetting gut microbiome, mental clarity and just to improve discipline. I didnt fast with any intention of using it solely to lose fat/weight. The first 30 hours were definitely the hardest. Being used to eating food so often then going to was pretty hard. After the first 24 hours I had a headache, was weak and didnt feel the best. Once I hit 30 hours I added in bone broth and it honestly helped a lot. The next day (around 45 hours in) I actually felt a lot better. I was way less hungry, had more energy, no headache and basically felt normal. I also didnt have any cravings and felt like I could keep going. Throughout this whole process I made sure to add a ton of mineral salt to my water to keep the electrolytes up. It was good to experience and makes you realize you really arent hungry half the time you think you are. The 2nd day got so much easier and feel like I could have kept going for 1-2 more days but honestly just didnt feel like it haha. Its super beneficial for a full body reset and highly recommend it even for 2-3 days like I did. I wont make these a regular part of my routine but ill definitely do another and maybe try a longer one at some point. Hope this helps! Drop any questions if you got
