👀 did you know about this? 🤍 Aside from March 14th being 🥧 day, it’s also WHITE DAY 🤍 here’s a couple things to know about the holiday 🙌: 🌏White day is celebrated in Japan (where it originated), Taiwan, and South Korea! 💝Valentine’s day in Japan was originally just a day where women celebrated the men in their lives (not just romantically) 👧 a woman was quoted saying “it’s not fair that men get gifts & we get nothing in return” ...& a confectionary shop owner RAN with this 🏃‍♂️ 🍭 Japanese National Confectionary Industry campaigned for a “reply day” in the 80’s 🤍 the first white day was called “marshmallow day” but was renamed so it could be more broad 🎁 popular gifts include white chocolate, candies, cookies, jewelry, etc Do you like the idea of having Valentine’s Day AND White Day? 💁‍♀️ #ValentinesDay #whiteday #japan #japaneseculture #myjapan #japaneseculture #wanderlustalley

iykyk 😌 psa: this train was out of service at a station most people have never heard of, I was one of the only people on the platform, there was no safety risks, no one cared, & I was disturbing no peace, I wouldn’t recommend doing this if there are a lot of people/there’s an active train/lots of people. Also the yellow line is for the blind to use and general marker for safety so at an active platform, you ideally shouldn’t be standing on or in front of it. This is just a video for fun.
